KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the 2026 annual examinations for the Class 12 Science General Group.
BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho announced the results, with Jannat Bint Ali Dost of Concordia College Gulshan-e-Hadeed Campus securing the top position.
Jannat, who appeared under roll number 625716, scored 1,005 out of 1,100 marks and secured an A-1 grade.
The second position went to Hamza Shakeel, a student of Adamjee Government Science College, who obtained 1,003 marks with an A-1 grade. Laiba Zulfiqar of Bahria College MT Khan Road secured third position with 989 marks, also achieving an A-1 grade.
Adamjee Government Science College Praised
Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho congratulated Adamjee Government Science College for its students’ strong performance in the examinations.
He noted that after securing the first, second and third positions in the Pre-Engineering group, the college also produced the second-position holder in the Science General Group.
Lakho attributed the achievement to the hard work, dedication and guidance of students, teachers and the college principal.
He said the strong performance of students from government educational institutions in the intermediate examinations demonstrated continued improvement in the quality of education in Sindh.
56.54 Percent Candidates Pass
Examinations Controller Zareena Rashid said 18,913 candidates registered for the Science General Group examinations, while 18,591 candidates appeared.
A total of 10,511 candidates were declared successful, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 56.54 percent.
According to the results, 748 candidates secured an A-1 grade, 2,193 obtained an A grade, 3,184 achieved a B grade, 3,076 received a C grade, 1,280 secured a D grade, while 20 candidates were placed in the E grade.
The results provide an overview of student performance in Karachi’s Class 12 Science General Group examinations for 2026.
